Ganesha Tandoori in Frankfurt

Ordered 2 dishes last week and were disappointed with both. Was the cook fired here perhaps because of Corona? The vegetables were mixed frozen vegetables, you know, those fluted carrots with beans and cauliflower in a boring sauce. The tandoori dish tasted like nothing and there was very little meat in it. A trip to the supermarket with fresh vegetables and Indian ready-made sauce would have been faster, tastier and cheaper. Very disappointing, especially as we loved going before Corona. If the restaurant continues like this, it will probably not be there after Corona. Too bad.

Very good, great vegetation options, great naan bread. Don't think about it, just go and try.

I have tried many indian Restaurants around Frankfurt and even Stuttgart. This is for sure the best one so far ! I got the butterchicken with two different Naans with an indian friend. The butterchicken was absolutely perfect but the naans can improve. too little filling in it. but still tasty. I recommend this place !

Very tasty and a decent portion. And in lockdown when you pick it up, it is super packaged to stay very warm even on a longer journey. My Indian favorite in Frankfurt.

I seldom got up from the table and left in a restaurant. Due inflexible when ordering. Special requests not really welcome. Poor hygiene in corona times. Masks, if at all, then nose-free. I cannot understand the other great reviews in other portals as the best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt.

we spent a nice evening here for two: in a niche right by the window we were "Corona-safe" and could relax and enjoy. The starters (fried vegetables) were delicious, the Merlot was good, the waitresses were friendly and unobtrusive. It is also nice that the restaurant is rather modern and simple and does without too much kitsch. The main courses were sufficient, but manageable, a starter is recommendable even for us, who eat little (otherwise we always get something packed at the Indian, not here - which is perfect for us). Once we had aubergines, which were good, but not outstanding, and then spinach with potatoes, which tasted badly like igloo, with potatoes that weren't through, "al Dente" :-). Hence the distribution of points: Starters: 5 Ambience: 5 Personnel: 5 Main courses: 3 At the end there was delicious mango schnapps.

I had a very nice evening and I'm looking forward to seeing you again. I ordered Prawm Byriani, Samosa and Garlic Nanan - everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Service staff very friendly and very attentive. Simply great! The quality is also great. The restaurant is also very clean, nicely decorated and the music is appropriate. Today lunch menu. Very friendly service. Mixed salad starter. Crunchy fresh. Indian main course. Super fresh. Very good taste. Mangomous dessert. With drinks 23 euros. Food came very quickly. Great for lunch break. 5 steps to the restaurant. Barrier-free in the restaurant.

We come regularly and it's brilliant every time! Very nice staff, lovingly prepared plates, great food and more than moderate prices. Haven't been to a better Indian restaurant until now. Definitely worth a visit!

Perfect idea. Food was consistently delicious. Reasonable and affordable prices. Service very nice and tried hard. Only the tables and chairs could be replaced and standardized in favor of the ambience.

We ordered three different lunch dishes and a starter. Unfortunately, all the main dishes were bad in taste, far too little flavored and the basis of all sauces seemed to be pureed, frozen onions. The rice wasn't Indian either. Much too oily and here too, the lack of Indian taste. The starter, samosas, however, was good. It is a shame because I experienced much better quality about a year ago.

Rude supplier. I also said that I don't hear the bell, so please call. The man stands in front of my door and asks me with a totally stupid expression on his face whether the bell is broken and that there is nothing on his slip to call. Next time just use the brain and call if no one opens.

My pulav is spicier than their biriyani!!! Edit: To make things clear - I ordered a vegetable biriyani 2 weeks before. It was less spicier than the pulav that I prepare at my home. As a matter of fact, Biriyani is known for its spiciness. Customization for german customers is ok, but I dint expect this. Sorry!

My favourite Indian restaurant in Frankfurt

I have been to this restaurant with my wife after many recommendations from colleagues and to write the review I am not at all disappointed. Excellent options in the menu, perhaps one of the largest spread in menu options. We'd ordered a Veg soup, Lassi and onion rings. Taste of each of them was delicious and lipsmacking. Next we ordered panner chilli. The level of spiciness I am used to in India is not the same and hence the spiciness was no match but the rotis were soft and very freshly made from the Tandoor. Staff is very polite and friendly. It was an evening well spent. Worth a try, you will not be disappointed.

As an Indian and a foodie I highly recommend Ganesha. The food is of great quality, authentic, the staff is friendly and the service excellent. They have great options for lunch too with perfect sized portions availabe for great prices. Palak paneer is one of my favorites and the chai is well made too. A great experience always.

Worst experience with the delivery guy. If people cannot be friendly, then I suggest not to hire them for customer service and delivery, And there is a huge miscommunication between the restaurants and Lieferando. Delivery guy was rude because apparently I should have picked up the call in the first try. While Lieferando app still showed 28 minutes (out of overall 55 mins) to delivery. I don't think I will ever order from this place again. I do not deny that food was quite decent but lacked respectable service quality. Dear Harsh, Since I cannot reply to your comment, I thought I will upload some proof regarding your delivery boy's lie. He called me once and I have uploaded a photo. In case you think blaming the customer will bring more customers you are mistaken because I was a loyal customer and now I will refrain from ordering from this place. I am very disappointed with the unpleasant behaviour towards me as a customer. I hope improvements are made accordingly. Regards

Whether takeout or sitting surprisingly comfortably on the street, very good food with very nice employees. I'm not sure if the description on the menu was always 100% in the dish, but since it didn't damage the result, I'll come back and try it out.

Good indian food

On my next visit to Frankfurt i will definitely visit Ganesha Tandoori Indian Restaurant, In my opinion, it is the best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt.

I Love Indian Spicy Food, Last month i was in Frankfurt and I was seeking for the Indian Delicious Food. One of my Friend Suggested me to try Ganesha Tandoori. It was awesome experience there, food was amazing, staff nice and overall i loved it.

Great taste, great presentation, great service. Prices are more than fair, and an exceptional value for a weekday lunch.
